JEDDAH, April 17, 2023 – President Mahmoud Abbas arrived today in the city of Jeddah at the official invitation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The President is scheduled to meet tomorrow with His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss the latest developments concerning the Palestinian cause, the situation in the region, and ways to further strengthen Palestinian-Saudi relations.

President Abbas was received upon his arrival at Jeddah Airport by His Royal Highness Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, along with a number of senior officials and members of the staff of the Embassy of the State of Palestine.
