DOHA, March 5, 2023 – President Mahmoud Abbas met today with his Serbian counterpart, Aleksandar Vučić, on the sidelines of the Fifth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries, held in the Qatari capital, Doha.

President Abbas briefed President Vučić on the latest developments related to the Palestinian cause and the ongoing Israeli violations against the Palestinian people.

The two leaders discussed several issues of mutual concern and ways to strengthen and expand bilateral relations between the State of Palestine and the Republic of Serbia across various fields.

Meanwhile, President Abbas also met with the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina Wazed, and briefed her on the latest developments regarding the Palestinian cause and the continued Israeli violations against the Palestinian people.
