RAMALLAH, Saturday, September 10, 2022 – President Mahmoud Abbas today sent a congratulatory cable to King Charles III on the occasion of his accession to the throne of the United Kingdom.

In his message, President Abbas expressed his hope to work with King Charles III and the British government to bring an end to the Israeli occupation of the land, people, and holy sites of Palestine, so that all may live in freedom and dignity, in a just peace based on international legitimacy.

The President also wished King Charles III good health and happiness, and wished the United Kingdom and its people continued progress and prosperity.
