RAMALLAH, Wednesday, July 27, 2022 – President Mahmoud Abbas today received the Russian Special Envoy for the Middle East, Vladimir Safronkov, at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah.

During the meeting, President Abbas briefed Safronkov on the latest developments in the Palestinian arena and discussed bilateral relations between Palestine and Russia.

Safronkov reaffirmed Russia’s longstanding position in support of the Palestinian people and their just cause.
