RAMALLAH, Saturday, January 15, 2022 – President Mahmoud Abbas made a phone call today to Minister Ahmad Assaf, General Supervisor of the Official Media, after he tested positive for COVID-19.

The President wished Minister Assaf a speedy and full recovery.

Minister Assaf oversees official media institutions of the State of Palestine, including the Palestine News and Information Agency (WAFA).
