RAMALLAH, Tuesday, October 26, 2021 – President Mahmoud Abbas today congratulated his Austrian counterpart, Alexander Van der Bellen, on his country’s National Day.

In his telegram to the Austrian President, President Abbas expressed his keenness to strengthen friendly relations and mutual appreciation between the two peoples and countries.

President Abbas praised Austria’s positions in support of the just Palestinian cause and the legitimate struggle of the Palestinian people to achieve freedom, dignity, and independence.
