RAMALLAH, Sunday, October 3, 2021 – President Mahmoud Abbas this evening called the family of Israa Khuzaimia, a mother of four from the northern West Bank town of Qabatiya, to offer his condolences following her killing by Israeli soldiers last Thursday.

The President expressed his deep sympathies to the family and prayed that they may find patience and comfort during this painful time.

Israeli police shot and killed Khuzaimia early Thursday near al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem. She leaves behind four children, the eldest 10 years old and the youngest just two.
