RAMALLAH, October 1, 2025 – President Mahmoud Abbas praised the statements issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of Palestinian rights, the cessation of war, the halting of annexation, and the prevention of displacement.

He commended the positions of King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and the efforts of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman in supporting the Palestinian people and their just rights.

President Abbas also welcomed the remarks made by Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, which affirmed the Kingdom’s support for U.S. President Donald Trump’s efforts to end the war in the Gaza Strip and reiterated Saudi Arabia’s rejection of the annexation of the West Bank.

The President emphasized that these statements reflect and align with the Palestinian position and the stance of all countries striving to end the war and establish peace in the region and around the world.
