RAMALLAH, February 17, 2026 — President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas received on Tuesday the credentials of Nguyen Nam Duong, appointed as non-resident extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Palestine.

The credential ceremony was attended by Presidential Diplomatic Advisor, Majdi Al-Khaldi, and Commander of the Presidential Guard, Major General Mohammad Daajana.

During the ceremony, the visiting ambassador reviewed the honor guard lined up to receive him.
